Buy My Stuff

Yeah, this is the page where I hawk my wares. I hate this part, but I have a food, clothing, and shelter habit to support. Also: book sales keep me writing full-time, which makes my books come out faster.

Nancy’s Books

Hey, you know Nancy Price, that woman I live with and kinda like? Well, she puts out books too. If you go to her shop at Myria.com, you’ll find a whole mess of stuff from adult coloring books to word search puzzles to really cool historical scrapbooks.

Here are just some of her amazing works:

The Encyclopedia of American Last Names
Published 5/21/17 by Synchronista LLC – Paperback – 400 pages
.
One of Nancy’s newest and best reference guides: a massive compendium of historical research painstakingly gathered from more than a thousand different sources. Learn the detailed origins of hundreds of American surnames, from Abbott to Zimmerman. If you’re a nut for genealogy or early American history, or if you’re a novelist looking to add some historical accuracy to your character names, this is the book is for you. Nancy worked crazy hours on this sucker, and the final product is brilliant.

The All-in-One Pregnancy Calendar
Published 2/26/16 by Synchronista LLC – Paperback – 260 pages
.
I can’t lie: I’ve never been pregnant. But Nancy’s a well-known guru on the topic, and she put all her knowledge into this brilliantly-designed planner. The book is filled with everything a growing mom needs: journal prompts, useful facts, quotes & notes, lists and charts, kick count trackers (which I assume is a soccer term), appointment reminders, the whole megillah. And I’ll say it again: the design is brilliant. I don’t know pregnancy, but I know graphics. And this book is a marvel of informational design. I want to get knocked up just so I can use this thing.

Dream of Time: A Novel
Published 1/3/14 by Synchronista LLC – 425 pages
.
Oh yeah. Nancy’s a novelist too. And like everything else she sets her mind to, she hit this one out of the park. Dream of Time is the story of a modern-day woman who keeps waking up in an entirely different body in an entirely different era. In addition to having a fascinating plot, the book bears all the humor and charm that made me go gaga for Nancy in the first place. It also has one of the best endings I’ve ever read.
.
But the real treat is the historical detail. Nancy did an insane amount of research to capture San Francisco at the turn of the 20th century. I’m pretty sure she traveled back in time herself. She won’t confirm or deny this.
.
Anyway, just buy the book. You won’t be sorry.
